SERIES 1F Lotus 3

Lamp base is 13.5” wide x 13.5” deep x 1” inches thick. Light is 72 inches tall. Base is made from book matched figured crotch Claro Walnut and backed with 1/8” thick brass sheet. Structure of light is made with brass round bar, brass tubing and jeweler’s brass sheet. Lamp diffusion is made up of two parts: 6 fabric panels made from a rare hand loomed Pineapple/Silk Fiber from the Philippines and pounded brass strips around the light bulb.. Kiimono silk thread is used to create the fabric panels. Base has 3 small brass “lotus” flower figures. One bird like figure is on the frame and there are 3 “lotus” flower figures at top of light. Shape of light is in a triangle and the fabric panels hang around frame in an asymmetrical way.
