Lamp base is 11 1/4 wide x 10 deep x 2 inches thick. Light is 40 inches tall. Base is made of Museum Grade Aniegre wood from equatorial West Africa. Black on sides of wood base is created using Japanese Shou-sugi-ban burning technique. Structure of light is made with brass tubing and jeweler’s brass sheet. Lamp diffusion is made up of two parts: 4 paper panels of Uda-gami Japanese paper and 4 fabric panels of a rare hand loomed Pineapple/Silk Fiber from the Philippines. Fabric panels are sewn with light blue kimono silk thread. Base has 7 small brass botanical figures.
